consistently seeing two downvotes on the anti-nepotism posts. I think we know what O's sons jobs are.

Brian Shottenhemier - started out at St Louis not under his dad
Kyle Shanahan - started out at Tampa Bay under Jon Gruden
Rex Ryan - Started out at Division I-AA football college not under his dad
Wade Phillips started out at his alma mater UofH not under his dad
Brian Belichick - started out under his dad
Carroll sons - both started out under dad
Mike Shula - started out under his dad
Jim Mora Jr - started out for the Chargers not under his dad
Mike Nolan - started out at Oregon not under his dad
Terry Bowden - started out at FSU under his dad
Steve Spurrier Jr. - started out at Arizona not under his dad
Just did half of the list and only 4 of the 11 started out under thier father. And by looking at it, it seems like the coaches that started out under their dad are less succesfull than those who didn't.

What are they analyzing?

Doesn't matter, you have to get your start somewhere, and even though they might not have started "under" their fathers, they were put in those positions because of who their father is/was

You keep using this word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I agree with that, some of them did get that job due to thier fathers, others due to playing football in college and being grad assistants. And they do need to start somewhere. Like my other post said tho, the optics now do not look good that we have 2 of his sons working in the building. Now, if we were winning it wouldn't matter like all of his other outside distractions but we aren't so people will look at this kinda stuff.

yall are really just looking for anything to bitch about with Coach O......This one is least of my concerns.

Yea that’s sad considering other schools have former coaches as analyst and we are stuck with Os kids lol

Of this were the only issue, I’d agree that it isn’t that big a deal. But it’s just one more brick in the wall collapsing around him.
He can’t be gone soon enough

Did he take his wife's name?

Posted on 10/8/21 at 10:32 am to Solo Cam
Not Gona bash them but it’s a joke we don’t have a real coach coaching Max when he comes to the sideline. We have some first year analysts smh. He needs coaching just like every other under class men

Bad thread. Go after Ed all you want, but his sons are good dudes. I know them both.
Lesters post was spot on. The guys are helping with basic “clerical” duties to build connections for their future. Any son that has aspirations to be a coach would take full advantage of their father allowing them to help out at a big name brand like LSU. Really bad smear.
Tyler has been on staff helping with the team since Les was here. Nobody had a problem then.
Parker literally laminates play books.

It's an expression used to show the connection between two things.. It's not literal haha

No one knows what their qualifications are or what they do. All people want to do is gripe and complain like they could a better job. This is the least of LSU's problems.

I don't think its necessary to shite on kids (young adults) getting their feet wet in the football industry, a profession their father has been in for like 30 years.
LSU isn't a charity case for the children of millionaires.

So what? There are a lot of good dudes that have no business on staff.
This is the whole problem. People like you who are ok with “good dudes” not good coaches.
I could give a frick if they are good dudes or not. Good dude is not a job qualification
