It’s been interesting talking to OSU fans about Heimlich

I was trying to give the guy the benefit of the doubt, as I don’t obviously know what happened, but just talking with them I now think he actually did it

They’re just very stoic and quiet about the entire topic. None of them adamently denied he did it which tells me they know he fricking did it

Of course he did it.

This isn’t a speeding ticket busted down to a non-moving violation. You don’t cop a plea to something like that if you didn’t do it. The ramifications are too great.

Why would being a fan of Oregon St. give them any more insight into what happened behind closed doors 7 years ago than anyone else has? Whether or not he did it...the reactions by OSU fans is irrelevant.

Part of the reason it’s so bad for the university to deflect and defend him no matter what had happened. The fans follow suit and make excuses and try to take their anger out on other people for calling the school out for what it is. Defending that is almost as bad than the actual crime commited.

You never want a University to put themselves and their fans in that situation. They basically acted like he was dealing with internal family issues that weren’t a punishable offense. The prevailing response from them has a direct correlation to how well he throws pitches and their potential of winning games with him in the lineup. No player should be given that kind of double standard.

Pedo's never stop...Heimlich did it once, he'll do it again.

It would be rare kid that would lie about something like that at that age. Kids are brutally honest. Oh well, he wasn’t that special from what I saw, we beat ourselves, played like crap.....

That’s fair. I’ve actually just been defensive of the guy as I don’t like the mob mentality jury in 2018. But I just now think he actually did it

He may have done it but that’s not much of a reason for your belief. I’m sure they don’t really know what happened.

He molested a cousin for 2 yrs from the age of 4 to 6 when he was 15. There isn't much more to it. He should have been taken out back and shot imo.

He was 17 and a 14 year willingly gave him a bj. Big difference from a 15 year old molesting a 6 year old

Heimlich’s brother (the child’s father) supposedly has no contact with him anymore. To me, that’s far more telling than the reaction of Joe Beaverfan.

I was in Omaha. To be honest they were just shocked and couldn’t handle it.

-Best pitcher left the team with the pedo allegations right before post season play after an incredible season
-Get to Omaha still, and destroy us in first game
-Lose in next game with a bad call go against them (and any losses put them in a bad mood since they rarely lost)
-Get shut down by one of our worst pitchers to get eliminated

I’d have been salty af and in disbelief of how the season ended too if roles were reversed. They are a weird arse bunch of people though, reminded me of Arkansas fans in a way
