Tyrus wasn't CT3 really... he was a freak accident. When Gransberry left we had a scholly open and we gave it to Tyrus at the last second.

I realy wish they would have given Butch Pierre a chance

I'm not saying that it would be worse than it is right now, but I can definitely say it wouldn't be to the level that would satisfy LSU fans. He would have had to have an unbelievable staff around him.

Being the worst team in the powerhouse basketball conference that is the SEC in back to back years is no easy feat

I think Pearl is doing and saying the right things to get back to CBB soon. I'd hire him in a heartbeat. He's the complete opposite of the clown currently coaching.

If the wheels come completely off the basketball program this Fall, then I would hope, Joe Alleva would kindly ask Trent Johnson to find other opportunities to persue.

Trent Johnson is not the coach John Brady was and I don't particular like Brady. But if the fans are resigned to the fact that LSU is "not a basketball school" and don't give a shite about hoops, then we might as well keep TJ around for as long as he wants to be here. I am embarrassed that this basketball program is acceptable to Joe Alleva and all the Top cats at LSU. But..hey..I am just a fan..I don't count for much in their eyes. You guys can have fun sitting in a cold dark empty PMAC this Fall.

These are bad times for LSU basketball ... a once proud program gone sour. I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel unless changes are made.

Jones came in and kicked trent's arse last season-absolute joke and Alleva should take the heat.

You would think the crap attendance would get the administration to do something. You can probably go down to your local high school and watch a better product than what Trent is putting on the floor. Pretty soon they will be handing out tickets at Winn Dixie like they do for the women.

I've stuck with Trent for a while and really thought he was the right guy but it is pretty hard to defend him at this point.

I've been saying that Johnson should not be the coach since I've been here. He should not be given another year after this year, and the administration needs to bring in a new face.

I like Trent Johnson, but he has lost the fanbase. Losing the fanbase at LSU in football, baseball, or basketball should result in losing your job. I hope he turns it around because I do think he is a good basketball coach, but he can't recruit this state for whatever reason. That basketball practice facility shouldn't house 3-13 teams.

It's not so much as he cannot recruit this state. There really hasn't been much talent basketball wise here.

Pearl is the front runner for the Maverick's D-league team (Texas Legends)in Frisco, TX. The team is excited about the possibility of him being their coach.
