Is someone paying you guys to post the exact same threads incessantly?
I need a little extra cash. Who do I contact to get the funds coming and the packet of info to write the same worn out overused drivel 24/7/365?

Can I get admins to whack any threads that contain any statements that have been used more than say 10 times a day in the previous 2 weeks.?
You can start with this one.

Miles should have been fired after the 2015 season after the A&M game. Than O would have never became an interim.

no it is any PROVEN HC can win 8 a year minimum thus the tongue in cheek sarcasm about a blind monkey could win 8 here. 10? definitely a proven HC could compete for that and better yearly also. O IS NOT A PROVEN HEAD COACH so the above does not apply to him. The issue you clowns fail to realize is miles underperformed based on the talent he had whether you want to accept that or not. he had 5 natty type teams. he escaped with one only in a two loss season you could argue he backed into.

A competent ad would have worked tirelessly to have a strong list in place by the end of the season.

I would take this a step further and say that a good AD would've had a short list already prepared after repeat years of .500 conference record. He should've had a list in mind coming into last season.

And this falls squarely on Alleva......SQUARELY!!!

The man has an eerily similar failed past as AD in comparison to O.

Youre right.

He would have lost to Ole Miss and Arkansas.

This is the most sane and accurate thread since we lost to State. Thank you

You clearly didn't read my statement, because you contradicted yourself.

Also, what was Les Miles's record against Ole Miss and Arkansas?

For 11 full seasons Miles won with talent alone and had 5 national championship caliber teams according to you despite Bama's recent dominance.

It all fell apart as soon as Miles was fired. The talent disappeared and the depth disappeared and even though 19 of the 22 starters have been in the program for 3 years or better , LSU is "young".

Miles lost talent yearly. Lost depth yearly . Played double digits freshmen yearly . All this to the tune of 134 wins . 40 wins post- 2011.

Odd that all this came crashing down as soon as Miles was no longer running things .

Any idiot can win 10 games a year at LSU....never forget that.

Ironically, Alleva didn't want to give Miles the contract extension, but Alexander over-ruled him because of the broader political situation in the state.

Where Alleva screwed up, was not having a better plan prepared for when it finally became expedient to search for a new HC. Alleva's plan was (1) Jimbo, and (2) Herman as the back-up option. He didn't have a third option.

Well said. Hiring Ed O at LSU will go down as one of the worst AD moves in SEC history.

I think nearly everyone agrees that O was a terrible hire.

Whether or not Miles “had” to go depends on your point of view. Mine is (and was at the time) that if you fire Miles, you have to make absolutely sure you can bring in someone who will do better....in terms of wins and consistency.

I just don’t think there are that many coaches in the country that are guaranteed to to win more games than Miles did. The “search” was obviously terrible but even if it wasn’t, we still had a good chance of ending up with a coach who isn’t better than Miles.
