He could improvise plays, that all he had. That a lofting it up for Evans. Running a straight play he was just about average. There's a reason he can't (ETA couldn't) do shite in the NFL.

Why are we talking about the NFL? He was a true sophmore when he put up those numbers and unless his offensive line improves. He'll have to depend on his legs more.

We aren't. Fairly sure he and Evans weren't on the same team.

JFF was overrated as frick for beating Bama once.

And why are you talking about Jackson when I'm talking about JFF?

Think about what happened to Fournette in the Heisman discussion after the Alabama game. It's the same type of thing LSU fans tried to say when coming to his defense. Alas, the damage was done.

So foxnews is better than CNN? That's like saying Ray Charles can see better than Stevie Wonder

Too bad that didn't hold true for Fournette.

The problem for me is their competition. I just wonder how "stellar" he would be facing stiff SEC competition each week.

Geez dude the SEC is not the defensive juggernaut it once was, and it was extremely awful last year.

Jackson put on a show against Clemson at Clemson, and if his WR actually tried to fight for a first down, they likely win that one. Their talent only hinders what he can do.

Petrino has him working from the pocket only these last few weeks to improve as a passer as well.

Think of what Manziel was able to do against EVERYBODY except LSU. I get tired of LSU fans completely disregarding incredible players and other good conferences. A lot of you are so stuck in your bubble that you can't realistically judge talent or teams.

Cool LSU stopped him. But that doesn't mean that he's a complete shite player in CFB. That's a ridiculous way of analyzing someones play. Especially a guy who's easily one of the top 10 gamebreakers going into the 2017 season.

Don't fight it man. When the LSU collective has something in their heads, it takes an act of God to remove it.

Just wait till they shove the USC QB up our arse all year. You will wonder if Jackson is in witness protection.

Not really. Louisville isn't a factor to LSU, and anyone can have a bad game.

He had multiple bad games last year. It was just a very poor year for Heisman choices. He's a great player but there aren't enough pieces to Louisville's puzzle to be a real threat. I'm sure this year he will have a couple of 700+ yards total offense type games but will still finish with 3 losses.

I watched a lot of Johnny football while he was at aTm, and I agree that his receivers made him look better than he was. He was good at keeping the play alive with his feet, but a lot of his throws was him just throwing the ball up for grabs and counting on his receivers to go up and get it. I knew he would be a bust in the NFL, which stands for Not For Long, when you just throw the ball up for grabs like he did.

So one game means Lamar Jackson is complete shite?

I hope you don't apply that type of logic to Fournette vs Alabama.

Dammit. Beat me to it. I came here just to say that.

You fools using the LSU v. Louie game to showcase how overrated Lamar Jackson is are using the same simpleton logic the Gumps used to try to demonstrate how much Leonard Fournette sucked.

A good RB and QB cant make a bad OL look good but a bad OL can absolutely wreck a good QB and RB.
