It just occurred to me why Alleva is on his way out....

Two weeks ago I got one of those phone calls from an LSU athlete thanking financial donors for their past support.
I told her (yes it was a 'her'....a soccer player) that I appreciated her call but I would be withholding further financial support to TAF as long as Joe Alleva was AD. (You can search my posts from 2 weeks ago. I posted about the call back then.)
And now here we are, Joe is headed out the door apparently.
So, YOU'RE WELCOME!!!

You joke, but when a national sports magazine writes an article about the backlash LSU and Alleva received from fans after how they handled the Wade situation, you have to think it was...eye opening for the LSU BOS.

Got an email 2 days ago asking for donation and told them I would not be donating anything anymore until Alleva and Alexander are removed

You have to believe that for every one person on this board who has posted that they have told LSU no donations, ticket renewals, etc., unless Alleva & King go, there’s probably at least several others that are saying it too. What started as “just” a basketball issue rapidly began to overflow onto other sports, especially football, and TAF donations. They ignored the fan base after the Miles debacle to their peril.
