you do realize that silly media polls are irrelevant.

And anyway, rankings aren't solely based on head-to-head matchups - it's a body of work. And Mizzou only has 2 losses, very close ones to us and to UGA on the road.

Jumped in thinking it would say

… that Matt House is still employed by Louisiana State University.

We don’t schedule FSU week 1 like idiots an learn how to play football vs Ole Miss who is not good and we are 11-1 and that’s so depressing to think about.

Yeah well the root cause of that was scheduling a team like that when we have a defense pieced together by freshmen and the transfer portal of rejects. We had no business playing them after Coach O left us with a basketball teams worth of talent.

I agree it does kinda get to me as well. Not really their ranking, but they only talk about the UGA loss. Like watching that video where they said that Mizzou was the best tigers in the SEC. Even during the games they talk about how great Mizzou is like if it wasn't for that UGA loss they would be right up there in the hunt.

Meanwhile I'm sitting there thinking... did I imagine that we beat them? It's almost like they threw that whole game down the memory hole.
