It feels like the combination of Lane Kiffin and LSU

Has made LSU the biggest name in the sport before playing a single game.
Not just because of what's happening now, but this is all another fact in evidence.
It's felt this way for a while. Once football begins, if LSU is as good as some people think they will be, this will intensify even further (though that doesn't seem possible right now).
I also think a lot of the vitriol coming LSU's way is rooted in jealousy. Especially from a certain school that used to be the biggest thing in the sport, but has rapidly had to deal with a lowered profile and expectations.

They all scared. Dude came in and mopped up in recruiting and portal in under 3 months time. Then you add that his offenses score no matter who he has for players, they are frightened

110%
I’m not saying LK will win 5+ NCs but you can see the mix of fear/jealousy in the other fanbases the same way we talked about Saban when he first came back. We kinda knew we’d eventually be in big trouble down the road. I think there is definitely a bit of that with some fanbases right now.

The amount of people that will be rooting against us hard this year to fail, hopefully has the team accepting the villain role by now.
