It all matters what is said in the TRO

If A&M’s language suggests in their TRO that they are immune to SEC punishment our should be interpreted the same way.
Also, the August 31st court hearing needs to happen and not get pushed back because the lawyer of our guys has a case in South Carolina that day too supposedly.
How quickly can cases be rescheduled and heard typically?

Ban all of these dudes from playing. You had your chance at college (whether you played out your eligibility or skipped it for the pros). Stop the madness.

But can the SEC say we aren’t saying they are ineligible. They are eligible to play anywhere but our conference? Would that hold water? Just thinking it through cause that will probably be their defense

At the end of their career that was the rule. If not, this will go on forever. There has to be a hard cut off. Life is not fair.

There is a hard cut. Next year. The NCAA ruled players from the recruiting class of 2022 eligible for a 5th year.

It wasn't the rule. That's the point. The NCAA said they should have been granted a 5th year, but since they relinquished their eligibility by going to the NFL they were SOL. That's the basis of this whole thing.
