To me, crazier still is that in our history - which has had some great teams, neither the men nor women have won a Final Four game.

The only reason he didn't is because of BoBo the Clown aka Joe Alleva.
Wade may have not coached the games, but his team made it to the Sweet 16. Maybe LSU would have gone farther if not for his suspension.

He's overrated but has assembled a team with Final Four talent in just his 4th year of a complete rebuild.

Those results don't match the extreme hype and hoopla asserted by his fans. I have no beef with the results - he can recruit great talent. But he was hyped by his fawning fans as being "the best coach at LSU", "we're going to the final Four," etc. He has done as well as any reasonable person would expect. But, he hasn't come close to matching the hyped up praise that his fans lavish on him.

This is the same old, tired, stupid arse crap you’ve been dragging out to every single basketball or Wade thread since he got here. When are you going to get tired of this schtick?
But what you just said is so freaking contradictory that it’s not even funny.
Your problem, based on what you just said, isn’t with Wade or his results or ability to coach. It’s with other fans. Wade can’t control what fans say and do on a message board. If he could, he would have gotten rid of your sorry arse a long time ago. But just b/c fans say outlandish things doesn’t make the coach himself or his results overrated. His results have surpassed the expectations of realistic fans based on the dumpster fire of a program he took over. And that most certainly does deserve praise.
But guess what? Fan is short for fanatical; so it is dumb to not expect fans to talk in hyperbole about a coach they are excited with. Get the freak over it!
