Is your 2011 defense better than 2010?

Against BCS conference teams, LSU gave up 21 or more points in 7 of 11 games...including the last 6 of the year.

I think this years D will be better. And it's certainly better than that weak Auburn D you guys struggled against...

Also, exactly what is duck bait? I know what tiger bait is... It's a duck you tie down where a tiger can come get it. But what do you toss out there to get a duck?

IMO, if we can avoid big plays we will be much better overall. The defense gave up some really big plays last year in the UNC, Auburn, and Arkansas games.
Sometimes the defense was a victim of the offense. For example, Florida scored 29 points on us gaining just 243 yards of total offense.

That was definitely a big factor. Just two completions in the Arkansas game that should have never happened resulted in 85 and 80 yard touchdowns
