shite, I forgot ProjectP took his phone away so he couldn't negotiate with the Brewers. Going to have to wait till he comes out of captivity to find out the answer I guess.

I wonder what takes so long in making a decision too. You know what they can offer. It’s either yes or no. Do you want 3.4 mill or do you want to come to LSU instead? It’s pretty cut and dry. Why wait til 3:59 tomorrow to decide

Yep. He has made up his mind the day of the draft. Just negotiating for every penny. Otherwise, more would have been said about going to LSU or hell he might have even thought about enrolling this summer.

3.4 doesn’t become 4 because they can’t go that high without penalty.

This is a dumb point. It's a huge decision in the kids life. If he's even 5% unsure of what he wants to do it makes a ton of sense to take all of the time he has.
In fact, the only reason to announce earlier is to satisfy people like yourself who are too impatient to wait. It changes nothing.
We can only gather one minor bit of information about his status still being open...he hasn't completely made up his mind one way or another. Beyond that, it's just a guess.
