After growing up listening to the tigers on a Walkman, after dad turned the television off in disgust, praying they'd some how come back. For many years and years and then boom 97 UF happened. Then 03 came. I cried like a baby. Not because we won but because all the years of never losing faith. 03 will always be that team for me. 19 if we finish it out will be second no doubt.

Between Joe Burrow and Coach O's story, I don't know how it couldn't be. Beating the frick out of Bama on the road - a lot worse than the score indicated, getting to experience our qb win the Heisman, I just don't know how it could ever be better. Besides, of course, closing it out with a title.

This has been a strange year for me. I went to LSU in the 70's. I have a grandson going to LSU as a freshman and couldn't be happier for him, but I also have a daughter, same age as my grandson (14 years between marriages) that is going to OU.

We're hosting a watch party for the game and all my daughters friends that go to OU will be here. My house is littered with LSU memorabilia, and now a few OU pieces. My daughter flies an OU flag out under her second story window on the front of my house.

She asked me who I'm rooting for, and I told her that I win no matter which team wins, but to be honest, I would be sick and depressed for weeks if LSU loses. This is a special season for all LSU fans. If OU wins, my daughter will love it, but won't appreciate it for what it is until many years have passed. This week is a real pickle for me.

That’s a yes for me. Huge respect and admiration to several other teams, but the answer to your question is a resounding yes for me and I was born into fandom in the early 60s.

I was at both the Earthquake Game and the 2007 Florida Game, and I considered that '07 game the best I ever saw. This quote was me until halftime at Alabama this year.

Now I'm 100% all in on this team.

2007 for me. Went to every home game and an away game. And I was still in college.

...ever? I was raised just south of campus down Highland & Staring Lane area in the 50's & 60's and remember many great memories of those Tiger teams and players. Many of those greats, Cannon, Stovall, Robinson, and others I was privileged to meet and interact with. However... ...this team we have this year, along with the many backstories about our players, have struck a chord very close to my heart unlike any other team I can remember in the past 60 years. If I am privileged to live another 25-30 years...it would take something very special to shove this year's Tiger football team to #2. I love this team and will always remember this time!!!!

I felt this way in 2011 then the Gumps got a do-over. I almost wish they would have gotten one this season. Because we would have done them again. Three times if necessary.

This team is the shite. Period.

2011 was the most attached and I don't think my brain will allow me to get that hurt again. This is the most attached since then tho for sure.

That would never happen in my house.

Bless the mess of a house divided.

Just gave you Your 48th like ...see that you have 6 down votes

Thats Burrow's TD/Int rate 48/6

This Team is possibly the most Special; definitely a seat at the table with a few of the others

This is it for me as well. Like many Tiger fans I had been waiting over 40 years. Plus, my brother and I got to attend 8 games that year, including the SECCG and The Sugar. We were at Ole Miss when Eli fell on his arse. We at USCe when Tiger fans took over one of Columbia’s most popular night spots the night before the game. It’s hard to explain the feeling of being in the Super Dome when Jones’ punt ended the game.

I was thinking the other day what a fine bunch of young men playing for The Tigers. So many likable personalities.

I'm more attached to this team, we witnessed history with all of the records and awards, especially Joe winning the Heisman.
