All signs point to yes. Never has an LSU team beaten up on an overmatched out of conference team so badly. It’s also a good representation of the competition they will face going forward.

Was it New England that went undefeated only to lose the Super Bowl? I want the ring, not the record for this team.

Two of the best LSU teams I’ve ever seen were 2006 and 2011 and neither won a title. Let’s slow down a bit.

These are the things one argues reasonably at the end of the season. Enjoy the season and don’t set yourself up to look foolish after only one game.
