Is this the first season you haven't looked forward to football?

After being so thrilled with last season, this is a huge punch in the gut. I'm dreading this season. I've always had title hopes for our team, but this year I hope to go 7-3 at best. What happened to one team, one heartbeat? Seems like the family is divided

Actually, all this attrition makes me excited to see how well all our new starters can do. Plus no rent-a-wins, Covid 19 uncertainty, and 10 SEC games will make 2020 very interesting. The unknown is exciting to me.

I knew months ago that this season, if it even occurs, will be nothing like a regular season. I’ll watch, but I’ll have zero emotional investment in this season.

I have been a season ticket holder since 1989. I look forward to every football season - some more than others.
Just take it as it comes and keep the expectations reasonably low. You will enjoy it more.

Yes, but only because I’m not sure it will happen.
attrition happens every year, and I have been wishing for an all-SEC season for decades. However, due to the Covid virus and the social unrest, I’m not sure there will be any football past the first game or two.

This year will basically be an exhibition year. I don’t think anyone is taking it seriously. Regardless of who goes undefeated or wins the NC, there will be always be an asterisk next to it.

It really does look like, at least from the outside looking in, that the whole “One Team. One Heartbeat” mindset is long gone. They acted, talked, and spoke like a cohesive unit last season. It really was like a family. This team seems fractured and very divided. As Honest Abe once said, “ a house divided cannot stand.”
