I think so! The 2011 team may edge this one out at player talent; but this one edges the 2011 team on coaching talent.

It’s a turnover question.

2011 team created like 30 turnovers.

Our offense and ST won’t be as efficient, so that will hurt the D.

We aren’t going to be good at TOP with this pass heavy stuff and we don’t have Brad Wing.

2011 was better at DL

If healthy this defensive line can be very comparable. the key is whether Chaisson can elevate to an elite Defensive end status. I know he is classified as a linebacker buthis role will be much like Barkeviou Mingo or Arden Key.

I don't think that secondary will ever be beat.

I am just hoping for a lot of scoring defense.

this is no where near as bad as being reported. I was there. There was a lot of great defense today. Burrow is the real deal and the defensive line is as good as since 2007. Burrow is the best quarterback since Matt Flynn

The defense may be good but not 2011 good. Mathieu played like he had the infinity gauntlet. I don’t think this defense will spot the offense 7-10 points a game. They will be solid.

D created a shite ton of TO's and also scored a ton along with ST.

Tyrann, Wing, and the overall special teams play made 2011 special - retuning kicks for TDs, INTs, fumble recoveries, plus 70 yd punts, solid FG kicking.......helped a shitty offense generate many more points than we deserved. Nothing was a fluke with that D - you knew they'd find a way to help the team win in any situation. The SEC Championship game vs GA was the poster child for how Honey Badger and a stifling D turned certain defeat into a double-digit win.

Can this team replicate that? I bet not - but hope I'm wrong.
