Correction - miles went 3-5 in the SEC in 2008. The halftime adjustments against Bama are the exception, not the rule. Do you know why he has so many 4th quarter comebacks? Because his teams often keep inferior opponents in the game until the bitter end. Elite programs would have stomped a mud hole in some of these teams. I want Miles to approach his job as if every week was a head to head matchup against Saban. Some of his better work has been against Nick, while many of his lowlights have come against teams that did not belong on the same field as LSU.

Absolutely!! I'll help him pack if that would speed the process up. Miles and Crowton both need to be leaving!

From a graduation %, # of arrests, winning %, etc etc., the only coach I can think of that offers the "whole package" in a way that's superior to that of Miles is JoePa.

I dont know where to begin with this.

and of all coaches, Jo Pa?

YES! He consistently makes bad decisions. One good half does not let me forget the misery of the last 3 seasons

You're chalking this season up as "misery"

Do you realize we're like top 5 and in the title hunt?

MISERY!!!

Yes this has been a miserable and painful season to watch. sorry if you disagree. One good half of complete football does not make me happy. Rankings don't mean shite until the end of the season

Yep, #5 just blows chunks.
Your type would have found something to be miserable about anyway.

The only people that think this season has been "miserable" are those that can't stand seeing Les Miles on the sidelines.....whether it be against McNeese or in the National Championship game. They hate him so much (which i still can't understand) that nothing LSU does will make them happy. Miles could win another NC in the next few years and they would still want him gone....they don't care about what's best for LSU....they only want their own selfish and warped agendas met. They refuse to give any praise and downplay all accomplishments because they're afraid that if they say anything positive about the football team it may be misunderstood as saying something positive about Miles....and they can't have that.

This!

If he coached every game like the second half (not just the results but the passion and intensity and looking like he was in charge) and had interviews like at the end of the Alabama game there would be no questions about anyone else being head coach here, but he does not always coach like this. Maybe he has learned. He finally stayed with the hot hand at qb which is something I hope he continues to do regardless of who it is for the rest of this season's games.

Yes, but I don't.

I would like to see a better OC come to LSU though.

Personally, I thik he should get a year or two with a new OC before this should even be discussed.

Starting from square 1 with a HC all over again isnt going to be as magical as people want to think.

no shortage of dumbasses here, the negatigers prop got cut from the jv football team. They have never coached even t-ball, some of them would have been the best on thier street if not for the tall 12yr old girl that would beat them in 1 on 1.

Most of your posts border on retarded, but this one is over the edge. EVERY LSU FAN wants the team to look like it is not run by a complete whack job. Unfortunately, on too many occasions since your hero has arrived, the team has looked like it.

For the first time in a very long time, LSU looked poised and confident in its play against Bama last weekend. I hope that Miles and company can keep it up. It is well past due, but hopefully this team is getting over the issues that have plagued them for entirely too long.

Do you think this season has been "miserable"? If so than you're an idiot...but i already assumed that from some of your previous posts. If not...than STFU because my post doesn't pertain to you.

Pot...meet kettle.

You spout as much nonsense on this board as Miles does each time he opens his mouth. I will not be shutting my mouth as long as you keep up your retarded commentary.

So, you must think the SEC is REALLY bad this year, correct?

We've played two 6-3 teams and an SEC schedule and we've played "one good half of complete football" and have somehow managed an 8-1 record?

Interesting.
