No. I also happen to believe that he was never "in the race".

Nope. Coach O did what he could do. Tried to clean up Les Miles mess... the team looked way better than it would have looked had Les stayed on. Very fun to watch. But I just don't think he the right coach at this time. I also am not sure what a Jimbo hire would bring.... and I honestly don't think this team is as talented as most think it is.... they have a few special players, but that is not enough to please this fan base. They want a championship or it's a bust....

Nope

I was an O supporter, but decision to put fournette in wasn't right.

I know O said fournette wanted to play but he was too hurt. I can't support that.

I would think "NO WAY" ... but, based on previous history, it would not surprise me if LSU got a hard-fought 3-2 win ... and the Aggie faithful ripped off their shirts, yelled "WILD BOYS", carried O off the field on their shoulders, and Alleva gives BEBE YAW-YAW a lifetime contract, along with a lifetime contract for BDP just for good measure...and then Aranda leaves the next day, Herman goes to Texas and wins the CFP in 3 years.

That'd be just about right.

But ... hey, dude is from Larose.

LSU scores So many points that time reverses itself back to the FL game, and Guice runs left instead of up the middle

I was on the O train but got off when I saw he was determined to run it off the tracks last week. Maybe you can't control fumbles, etc. But you can control your players trash talking and effort if you are semi-decent of a coach. Nope, I don't even want him around. His superb defensive line coaching got pushed in against any halfway decent team this year.

No. His main qualifying factors previously were being Cajun and perceived difference from the way he speaks and is great around people. Neither of those things showed up on Saturday.

No the O train came to a screeching halt this past Saturday by losing to an almost 2 touchdown dog in our OWN FRICKing HOUSE, nothing can erase that.

The committee has never taken him out of consideration. Only message boards and media have made statements that Coach O is not being considered. He is definitely third choice but he is not out of the running.

I was pulling for O, but Saturday was really bad. I don't see how he can recover, which is ironic because no one would have given us a chance to be better than 2-2 in November had Les not been fired.

That's why he is still in the race. I was told before November that with 1 loss he was in and even with 2 loss he would still be in consideration. I think if he gets the job his new staff will be an eye opener. I'd like for him to get a shot.

He should not have even been considered at all.

When this happens the score is credited to the previous game. Then and only then is CEO back in consideration...

No, he did not beat a bad Florida team. It was the fault of the players mostly but he did not show enough leadership to get the job done.

I like CEO but he did not have that team focused Saturday. Look at the crap before the game started.
Look at how LF acted from 3rd qtr on. This team was not on a mission to win the game. Kickoff we fumbled on looked like a keystone cop cartoon.

Even on the final play running the wrong way, we gotta ask ourselved WHY? This was as devastating a loss as we have had. We had a SUGAR BOWL invite on the line. We went up and down the field on them.

You gotta keep the team focused on the game and it was clear they were not. OL allowed way too much push in the red zone. Special teams were horrible--long kick off led to 3 pts, muffed fg attempt lost 3 pts, fumbled kick off gave up 3 pts---that's 9 points.
