That could've got a winning record with the cards Coach O were dealt this season?

Does that coach get a DC not named Pelini? Because that’s a card that Orgeron dealt.

Mullen, Saban, Urban, Freeze, Campbell, Day, Dabo, Riley, hell maybe even Jimbo

That’s just a few

Other than Boom and maybe Mason. I think every other coach in the SEC would have had a winning record.

So you want a list of coaches who could have went 6-4 this year with this talent? 6 and 4? Not 8-2? But 6-4? What about 5-5?

Lol. Jesus. Talk about lowering your expectations.

Everybody wants to make Pelini the scapegoat, but the real issue with this team is the offensive loine. All teams are only as good as the oline. We have been a one dimensional offense besides for 2-3 games. Combine that with QB's who are not mobile and its easy pickings for SEC defenses.

To answer OP's question. With our oline not even Saban wins more than 5 games with this team, this season.

Gotta love these people who claim we’ve got all the talent in the world after signing day and all summer long then say it’s a talent issue to cover for a coach who’s losing lol. When you deify a coach he’s always in a can’t lose scenario.

We have a shite ton of talent that is poorly coached. Under Saban and his staff, this exact same team is probably 9-0 right now and #1 in the CFP poll

It never dawns on them that excusing one or two things maybe be possible as coincidence but excusing dozens that span a spectrum of issues is simply impossible. They’re like a parent who blames their kids bad behavior on the teacher from preschool through senior year.

He dealt his own cards.. he hired the coaches.. he didn’t convince the players to come back.. he lost control over the locker room.. the circumstances wouldn’t be the same with other coaches. Look around man. The obvious answer is saban and yeah he would have got a winning record. Think before posting...

I believe Orgeron was 5-0 against those coaches in the group that he faced with a complete roster.

What do you mean "the cards O was dealt?"

When you're in year 4.5 of a coaching job, you really aren't dealt cards. You're reaping what you sow.

I like O, but this is looking more and more like he just can't manage a program top to bottom. O's always been an ace recruiter and motivator, but what happens when you can't manage a roster and your players look like they'd hardly lift a finger for you?

LSU 2020 is what that looks like.

Meanwhile, O spent the spring and off season poon hunting and continuing his 2019 victory lap instead of getting these players and program through a pandemic and ready to go.

No, Orgeron wasn't dealt shite. He's mishandled everything since 1/13/2020.

Everyone knows it but not everyone here will admit it. Coach O has been at the helm long enough that if he had built a program on solid ground like other coaches who have long-term success year in and year out, the team wouldn’t be falling on his face this year.

He 100% caught lightning in a bottle last year, and I don’t expect anything close to that repeating itself due to any coaching prowess that he may have. The Chizik comparison is spot on, unfortunately. Cam=Burrow. Neither of those teams win national championships without a transfer of a once in a generation quarterback.

Nope, because Saban would be organized enough to talk D Lee, Saddiq, and Cush into returning as they weren’t going to be 1st rounders.
