So just like Southern Univ then?

He also wants a Charlie Kirk statue on campus
If he were an alumnus I’d get it but he’s not.
I don’t like tge direction this is heading with the governor

A school 10 miles away, and also had a campus shooting two weeks ago.

I think the Southern comparison went right over your head. This might help

After listening to Ruffino last night, I honestly wonder how much of that is true and if so, I think we can upgrade at AD pretty easy. He basically said Woodward had very little to do with the Jay Johnson hire and was really bad at meadling in alot of things he shouldn't have and was wearing thin on alot of the coaches and administration in the athletic program.

He wants to make a school safer and better? What’s bad about that?

The governor isn’t helping. He’s hurting. Because he’s a mouth breathing idiot.
You’ve also gone extremely off topic, since you were talking about the president at LSU being responsible for tailgate shootings

This is all I needed to know from you.
If you let people talk long enough, they expose themselves
And I find it quite interesting that you are defending a guy that bailed on his commitment to LSU. He was under contract until 2029

I voted for him but wouldn't really call myself a supporter

People may say that he brought in Jay Johnson, Kim Mulkey, and Jay Clark, but those programs lose money and don’t pay our bills.
It's like no one understands that Skip Bertman and what he built and as a continuing sounding board for Jay J was a primary reason in him coming to LSU and Scott had little to do with it. I've got no problem with Woody gone after hearing about all the shite he has done the past few years.

Are you a Jeff Landry supporter?
Posted on 11/1/25 at 3:11 pm to RobbBobb
I feel the exact same way. Anyone who thinks Jeff Landry is anything but a jack arse shouldn’t be taken seriously.

It’s no secret Tate was told to start looking for other jobs.

I supported the decision to fire Kelly.
But Landry and the politicos are low IQ slavering idiots who need to maintain maximum distance from the program. Prototypical backwater dolts.

I've known JL for years, definitely not a supporter, he's not a good person, not a good governor. But it doesn't matter who the governor is, if they get involved publicly in LSU athletics, they have shite the bed. It is about the worst, dumbest thing a politician can do, I hope Landry pays a steep political price for this f*ck-up.
The combination of firing the football coach AND the AD, in the same week, in the middle of football season, is inexcusable. Now we have a committee in charge of coach selection, an effing committee, if we get an assistant from Morehouse St. to come, we better grab him before he changes his mind.
There is really no solid reason for firing a football coach in mid-season, yeah, it feels good to dump the source of your misery, but at this point the season is a failure, you're out of the play-offs, you'll be lucky for a decent bowl game, all the decent replacements are tied up until the post season is over. If you wait, you look patient, you have time to talk to the agents and get the best guy in your back pocket.
Now you don't even have a single authoritative voice to handle represent
you, you have the nefarious committee, nobody in their right mind wants to deal with a committee.
I'm trying to think of a worse way for LSU to handle this, I don't think there is one. Landry set us back to 1991.
