Verge needs to be fired into the fricking sun for scheduling us in an away game against a potential top 15 team that has nearly all of their starters returning for the very first game.

This game was scheduled like 7 years ago.

You do understand the Clemson series was scheduled for the next two seasons in 2018 right?

basically teams that play at Hawaii are allowed to play an extra 13th game. They can schedule that extra game in week 0 against anyone.

Negative ghost rider. Same number of games. They are just allowed to play before Labor Day. They have another mid season bye week.

DAVA is one of the prime WEAK LINKS in the LSUAD and they are majority WEAK LINKS.

DAVA (Dumb arse Verge Ausberry) is pretty much an Administrative version of Ex-LSU WBB Coach Nikki Fargas. (In over it's head, incompetent and should have been fired 5 years ago)

I understand that DAVA is buddy-buddy with C.R.Tate and he aint goin nowhere because of the good ole boy woke racial politics that have smothered the University of Louisiana State University.......

Clemson lost 34-3 to Georgia in Week 1 this year and 28-7 to Duke last year. They also lost to Georgia in 2021, so they’ve lost 3 of their last 4 Week 1 games. Maybe there’s reason for hope.

according to this LINK they do get an extra game. Teams like FSU that don't play Hawaii just get the benefit of an extra bye week somewhere in the season. But teams that travel get the extra game if they wish.

Those teams should be complaining that they're playing us. We're the ones losing though. They obviously didn't need a warm-up game

Does Clemson have a week zero game? No, they don’t. Get over it, man. So many on here complaining about Florida State week zero game a few years ago.

The author of the article needs to get his facts straight. They completely left McNeese vs. Tarleton off the list of games played that Saturday. As such, it's hard to trust anything else in the article. Typical media clowns.

He was discussing FBS schools.

A second exemption, allows FCS teams to play a nationally televised nonconference game on the Saturday before Labor Day weekend (NCAA bylaw 17.11.4.2). Hence McNeese vs. Tarleton that Saturday.

He quotes the NCAA rule. Pay attention.

That may be true but the info in the article is accurate.
