Ok, so we won our SEC series so far, but can you honestly say that we have been dominate?

In 2004 CSF had a losing record before winning the title...

no offense to these guys but Haydel, Pontiff, MeGhee, Helenihi just aren't that good. If the game last night reminded you of one in 07 just look at who was in the lineup. In fact I would rather have sent out guys like Dozar, Nola, Hanover, Mahtook just to get more work and experience.

10-5 in the SEC

As well I'm no expert, but how many sweeps did Fresno St. have midseason last year?

How did their season turn out?

Fresno St. lost one last year pre-championship game. in 2006, oregon st. lost their first game. that's two in the last three years.

How many teams in the last 10 years have lost a game (pre-championship game) in Omaha

We are talking before championship series? That started in 2003, so, we have a 3 year sample?

The fact remains that GREAT teams show their dominance when tested and every other current top 15 team has more than 1 series sweep and we have none. In the post season there is no room for winning 2 out of 3!!!!!

and most of those teams have lost a series or two, have lost mid week games, have the same or more losses than we do...

...are you really being serious (which would mean that you clearly do not understand college baseball) or you are ...trying to be sarcastic?

exactly...weren't they a number 4 seed H-Town? But wait I think the NCAA is going to take their title away because they didn't dominate the entire season like they should have...

I kind of enjoy this time right after LSU loses a game like this, you get to see who on this site actually follows college baseball. Not to mention the mood swings of posters, so dramatically from one game to the next.

Dearest Dumbshit,

Rice in 03 won 2 of 3
Oregon St in 06 won 2 of 3
Fresno St just last last year won 2 of 3

Not to mention his argument about only winning 2 of 3 in Omaha is stupid because you don't actually have to pitch your #4 and #5 starters.

During the in-game thread last night I asked how many retarded topics would result from us losing.

I think the over/under was 20, he's just helping the cause.

We obviously don't have dominate pitching at this stage of the season, but it is still early.

Where did this myth start, have people not watched? Our pitching is really good.

I'm waiting on the "LeMahieu is Mediocre" thread. After all, he's hitting just .357. He really needs to take those other 83 at-bats seriously and start dominating. There's no room for succeeding 35/36 out of 100 times in baseball.

I'd ask you to learn the difference between the verb "dominate" and the adjective "dominant," but I don't like being disappointed.
