LSU could give away free tickets and free concessions, and some people would still complain.

Long, long overdue. But if the gumbo is like the jambalaya in the stadium...….uh, no.

Here's a suggestion, eat before the game. Don't rely on crappy stadium food to be a great experience. I don't understand this board's obsession with concessions. Can people go three hours without shoving food down their faces?

Actually it's more than 3 hours if you get there 30 minutes prior to game time, the game itself is 3 1/2 hours and it takes you 45 minutes to get home if you live in the BR area. That's nearly 5 hours. Just saying..

Anyone who has kids know they get hungry and want something from the concessions.

Continuing the trend of turning Tiger Stadium into an airport

I agree with this, but even an airport beats a Dixie Youth Baseball in a dying town level concession stand. I know you got downvoted to hell in your other response, but an under 3 minute wait for a water and sprite mixer would be fine by me.

I just hope the bathrooms are better, it would suck to do number 2 after some spicy Leroy sauce in Tiger Stadium.

I like this idea. I think it can work great. Interested to see how it ends up.

Yeah and detaches people from the actual game even more

Having local options for food detaches people from the game?

So for a 6pm game, you’re recommending folks eat their dinner at 3pm? Sounds great.

I've never had Shed BBQ but I'd bet my house that it's better than Aramark's dog food.

One would think that with all of the opinion pieces that have been coming out lately, this narrative ought to be given up by now.

Ever since that Western Carolina game in 2000. A bunch of people fell out from heat exhaustion. Think it was 97 degrees and humid that day in Tiger Stadium.

I don't think it was 1 liter but they started letting you bring in one unopened 20oz bottle of water per person some time around then.
