Per the advocate…
quote:

The new concession lineup includes businesses like Tre's Street Kitchen, The Shed Barbecue, Simple Joe's and Queen Eats and Royal Treats. The new vendors' locations are scattered throughout the stadium (see map for details).

quote:

Tierney Royal, owner of Queen Eats and Royal Treats, plans to serve her Royal nachos, Spicy Leroy's smoke sausage po'boy and Cajun smoked chicken sandwich, topped with Spicy Leroy's signature sauce.

This is the ideal way to approach concessions. Let the local vendors who fight for their customer base everyday get representation at the stadium. This would seem to be an outstanding plan to serve the LSU fan base.

I believe these smoothies have more sugar and calories than some of the other offerings

haven't been to a game at ULL since they were USL but this is what they at least used to do, food at their stadium was great, the I-Bowl used to be that way too

Just saw they are letting people bring in a 1 liter bottle of water. Have they ever done that before?

I’m here in Nashville and the local Soccer stadium does this almost exclusively. Pretty much all food vendors are local Nashville spots. It really does increase the game day experience more than you would think.

Here's a suggestion, eat before the game. Don't rely on crappy stadium food to be a great experience. I don't understand this board's obsession with concessions. Can people go three hours without shoving food down their faces?
