So I guess Hillis, McFadden, and Felix wouldn't be the best backfield in the NFL as a group if they were all on the same team because they played in the same team in college.

RB does not equal D-Line.

RB is the easiest position in football.

You can take the lowest paid D-linemen in the entire NFL, and they would still be leaps and bounds better than the best of the best playing in college right now. You could probably assemble a team of NFL practice squad guys that would absolutely demolish a team comprised of cherry-picked college guys. It's just not even close man.

come on, it is not that bad

Suh did make an immediate impact as a rookie. The 4 best in college would be better than the 4 worst in the NFL. I have no doubts about this.

This is a joke right? You could take the worst starters for the redskins and the worst starters for the bills and they would still manhandle any college team

The Saints DLine would've held Oregon scoreless

Well that's not true at all, scout team players are paid and I'm fairly certain there are several scout teams in the nfl that would be beaten pretty easily by some college team

Seriously?! How much do players improve from their freshman to junior year? Now how much more do you think they improve with NFL-caliber coaches and strength and conditioning? Every single player in the NFL is bigger, faster, stronger, more experienced and more skilled than he was in college. And they were already in the top 4-5% of college players. Are you thinking this through at all?

Justin Vincent never got the starting job back after his hot start and up until last year was a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The lowest paid players are not NFL athletes

this is true...

I believe Suh is a once in a generation player though. Nobody on LSU's Dline is remotely close to him.

You're not making that argument.

If you took Hillis, McFadden and Felix AS THEY WERE PHYSICALLY and MENTALLY their last year in college, no, they wouldn't be anywhere near the best RB group in the NFL.
