No college team is as deep or talented as an NFL team.

No. But you're correct that LSU does have a lot of NFL talent on D-line.

Montgomery and Mingo will likely be 3-4 OLB's in the pros. Sam may grow into an every-down DE, but I have doubts that Mingo can hold up against NFL tackles for every down.

Brockers and Johnson are likely NFL players simply because of their outstanding physical skill. Johnson, shockingly, already has more upper body strength than most NFL D-linemen. Lavar Edwards will be a role player DE in some team's 4-3 scheme. If Logan can continue to develop, he may work his way in to the league as well. Obviously, Ferguson is young and could do the same.

1st off it was a question. 2nd of all how do you not think that these guys could potentially all be 1st teamers in the NFL. The Saints have a good line but face it not one star, if you think Ellis or Smith are than you are crazy. I do think like Kelly said it is a different kind of athlete and I don't just mean from the PAC-12. Our ends look and run like LB's. I think you are probably right to say no but damn I didn't think it was that far fetched.
