Meaning the fan base will want him out and replaced by the brilliant OC or DC?

EdO kept Dave Aranda and Dave was as bigtime a DC as you could get.

Ed had literally zero say in keeping Dave Aranda.

If we know anything about Ed, it's that he's SUPER SOFT and defensive ever since he landed the LSU job..

It's like people just forgot about the 2018 season. If Ed doesn't frick with Canada's offense, we win against Troy

It wouldn’t make sense to have that kind of fear. If the coordinator is that successful, he takes a HC job elsewhere if he wants

No.

By the way, there are no stupid threads, just stupid people who start threads.

Isn't that how he got the job? Undermined the guy in charge when he was vulnerable?

Its like the second wife who was the mistress to the first wife. At some point she knows there will be a new mistress who will ultimately become wife 3.

O never really supported Aranda. He probably felt threatened by him and ignored how much he needed Aranda. O replaced him with someone whom he felt comfortable with and replaced Brady with another washed up retread. Before the season started, he proclaimed the defense light years ahead of Aranda's last year in an obvious cheap shot. We all know how that turned out. Last year I commented that I may have been wrong in my opposition and concerns about O. O has proven those concerns valid.

You don’t realize how ridiculous this angle is?

O is budgeting $4mil worth for coordinators & lsu is routinely near the top of college football in assistant coaches salary

Someone claimed that was Pelini's botched mission.

No, he’s just tired of having to constantly fight off suitors every year and start over. His big thing is culture, family, one team, one heartbeat, etc. it’s hard to maintain that with a new OC/DC every year.

Unable does not equate to scared. He can't, they won't work for him. the only decent people that will talk to him are old friends and even those haven't taken the bait. he brings John Thompson around trying to use his credibility, no help.
what's next ? Lombardi, Bear and Landry are all dead and that's the kind of name it would take at this point.
