re: Is next year the year we finally start putting some heat under Kelly's seat?

I get the disappointment in Kelly year three claims and it is overall his fault, but if he manages to win the Bowl Game my start of the year expectations were met. The way the year developed is my issue as I was expecting a 8/10 win season. A first year starting QB is nearly always a challenge, coupled with a terrible defense that was being carried over with no new bodies essentially.
If Kelly wins the bowl, delivers in the transfer portal, and then wins at Clemson to start the year, his seat will be cold not hot. If he loses the bowl, misses in the portal again, then follows that up with a loss at Clemson, his seat likely will heat up tremendously.

So with a bowl win he'll have had seasons of 10 wins, 10 wins & 9 wins & a division championship. Fire him & what good coach will want to come coach here? Add to his buyout money, all of his staff's salaries, & then the new coach & his staff's salaries. Plus, LSU is still paying Coach O's buyout. And a bigger demand for more NIL money. No way he gets fired anytime soon. LSU has had its share of bad coaches : Stovall. Hallman, Archer, Miles at the end, Coach O at the end. Are you putting Coach Kelly in their category?

As long as sunbelt billy, Riley, and Norvell are coaching Kelly is safe.

The heat is there now and it doesn't matter of any of you pathetic MA's like it or not.
NO CFP in Year 3 and finishing the regular season outside of the Top 25, right there with Tulane and Southwest Louisiana Junior College at Lafayette; is just not acceptable.
LSU certainly not getting 10 Million a year performance out of BK.

You sure about that? Kelly was only 1 win better than Billy, who had to face the toughest schedule in CFB this year.
Truth is the retarded contract Scott handed over to BK is keeping him safe.

Sure if you will pay his buyout!

I said his seat will heat up if he fails to do everything I mentioned. With how he finished this year and the recruiting class he landed, he is safe for sure next year, pending a complete collapse.
He issue right now is he has lost a decent amount of fan support, which is revenue. If he succeeds in the bowl, portal, and at Clemson he will get them back. If he continues to loss supporters, his seat will continue to warm.
