Is LSU consistently the fastest team in CFB?

If not, who is it?
Have you guys ever gone into a game concerned about the speed of another team?

On offense Oregon has the edge, but overall I don't think any team can say they're faster.

Yeah I mean remember that time our Defensive End ran down one of their fastest players................on the opposite side of the field.

Since Chavis got here in 2009, our defense has been very fast. We get to the edges very quickly.
The weakness in Chavis' scheme, IMHO, is up the middle. When he has elite DTs they can hold the middle (eg Brockers and Logan in 2011) by themselves, freeing up our faster DEs and LBers to clean house.
So the question you should be asking yourself is not whether LSU is fast (we are), but whether we have the players up the middle (we might).

You guys

But to answer your question. Yes. And it doesn't help that your rbs and skill guys are usually "healthy", "husky", "plus size" or an other term for fat.

I'm impressed that you remembered your password after a six year hiatus
I've been worried about individual players speed, not the team as a whole though.

Mingo is a fricking freak. My point still stands

Everyone on our team is so fast they can turn off the light and already be in bed before the room goes dark. That fast.

Pretty sure he's referring to about the last ten years or so...
I mean, we could go back to 1904 and discuss the team speed of Shreveport AC.

Well, shite, then let's talk about that Shreveport AC team speed...
Seems like it may have caused some problems for us.

Who'd they have that was faster than us?
Harvin, Rainey, and Demps were all fast but we had Trindon, PP7, and Byrd.
