Uh… we need an elite QB. Check spring & fall w/ backup QB’s in. Not good.

To be fair, it’s not every year we have Lane Kiffin pulling the strings. I think we’ll get the best option we have- and whoever takes the snap will be more prepared than we would’ve been in recent years.

He had a nifty touchdown with his legs vs. Tech. He can definitely get it done with his legs. Can he get it done with his arm and can he handle the pressure? Who knows?
Sam is a better known commodity, but it hasn’t been all positive. Seems like Tech knocked some dimensions off this offense and it’s partially Sam’s fault. Maybe Clark will be as good or better a game manager.

Better, no. Do I think Lane has the ability as a coach to still beat OM with a backup QB and a defense as good as we have? Yes

It’s a fair question. Sam has proven to be a Matt. Landen has shown signs of being a Matt but has not quite proven it. Saturday gives Clark the chance to fully solidify himself as a Matt.
