Is LSU as bad as they looked in pass defense-Oline blocking as the replay analysis shows?

I am amazed as some of the things I saw on both offense and defense. I really thought LSU would be the dominant team on both sides, and OM manhandled LSU the entire game.
Either OM is that good and will be a major contender for the SEC title and more, or LSU is really underforming so far this year.

Looking at the tape, they were worse at QB play than anything else. Just slightly better QB play and LSU wins that game

If Sam gives Jones the ball in first quarter we are probably down 17-10 at half at minimum

I'd say LSU made adjustments and won the second half of the game. The mistake was our offensive and defensive gameplay to start the game.

You will probably see a more focused LSU team from here on out. That Ole Miss game was a big mountain to climb because of all of the extra curricular attention to other things. Ole Miss did everything humanly possible to derail our team and it worked...having papers served, using piped in music up until the ball was snapped each play..
All that going on and we still had a chance to tie it late and go on to win. Lost two very good players to injuries and still almost won.

What a terrible take. LSU literally gave college football the recipe to beat Chambliss and ole miss in the 2nd half

Chambli ss made several incredible throws/plays to beat LSU. LSU will be fine.

People forget exactly how bad we were last year. It takes time to fix issues in technique that began under poor developmental conditions. You have to correct issues as they arise, and it doesn’t happen overnight.
Same goes with transfers if they were poorly developed previously. You have to coach them up, and sometimes film and practice can’t replicate the conditions in games where a player makes mistakes.
There’s enough on film that this past weekend could be either a launching point to a Natty, or a redirection of personnel at a couple of positions.
Kiffin has never seemed to be one that skips on details.

LSU could have had chunk plays in zone runs to the left all night if Sam would have given the ball up on those RPOs. Go watch some film reviews.
