...already? As of now, he has done more than any other coach.

If he wins Monday, I wouldn't see why not

Greatest I've seen. But if he loses a couple games next year, the fable of Saban will be back.

Yeah. He will pass up Cholly Mac in total wins soon as well.

He's my personal favorite already
Winning Monday would put him there for the majority of Tiger fans I would think

Urban Meyer disappeared fast, be careful what you wish for!

Yes, he is the only LSU coach that I know of who has PLAYED for TWO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS, and he has been our coach for seven years !

Urban lost focus and doesn't do his homework like Les does in recruiting. Urban was very fortunate also to have player named Tebow without him he doesn't win that second NC. IMO

If he wins Mon, he will be the greatest coach in LSU's history. If he loses, he will have lost to arguably the greatest coach in the era a modern college football.

Win or lose Monday, his record speaks for itself, and is unmatched by any coach in LSU history.

Not quite yet, but he is getting close. A win Monday would go a long way.

If the man wins Monday, start planning for a statue....I'll be the first to donate...

I think he's already the best, and a win Monday will place him at the front of all modern era coaches. If he can maintain quality staff into the future, the way he's recruiting, the sky is the limit.

Entire body of (LSU) work to date versus Saban, McClendon and Dietzel as of right now, I'd say yes - with Mac a close second due to overall number of wins.
:::: W - L - T - SEC - Nat'l
Miles : 75 - 17 - 0 - 2 - 1*
Saban: 48 - 16 - 0 - 2 - 1
Mac : 137 - 59 - 7 - 1 - 0
Dietzel: 46 - 24 - 3 - 1 - 1
(* 9 Jan game)
--------------
If the Tigers win on 9 Jan it's a slam dunk.
