Weird year, weirdest since 2007. We didn't play any of the 3 worst teams in the SEC, even Vandy was good for their standards this year. Also, we lost probably 90% of our offensive production. This was always a rebuild year. I thought our floor was 8-4, ceiling 10-2, some thought 7-5 to 9-3. Going 6-1 got everyone's hopes up although we still saw the difficiencies in our 2 best wins, USCe & Ole Miss but they were wins so we ignored them. Keep the recruiting class together, add some portal talent and we will be in thick of playoff hunt next year.

TLDR version - we will finish slightly below realistic preseason expectations at 7-5 or 8-4.

He’s average at best. No redeeming quality. What is he an expert at? It’s not recruiting. It’s not offense. It’s not defense. It’s telling you about the process that has never won anything for him. Talks like Saban. Coaches like Jane.

No, but a portion of our fan base is the absolute fricking worst. I don’t care who the opponent was. LSU got a much needed W and looked pretty good doing it. But no, all I see on TD are posts about how stupid out coaches are, how bad our QB is, how shitey our AD is. If you can’t enjoy watching LSU get a win, then why even watch at all? Why continue to put yourself through the misery week after week?

This isn’t a rhetorical question. I’m really curious to know what the motivation is here.

I'm not going to say Kelly is "that bad", I will say that he is not good enough to win an SEC, much less a National Championship, at LSU. Or anywhere else. The contract that he received when hired was and remains absurd.
