Jeremy Hill

He deserves the Heisman Trophy for his mop up duty against Idaho at home. His performance was truly that impressive.

I can not believe how little it takes for people to get impressed.
I agree, please start talking Heisman

Good grief...
Our fans even refuse to be embarassed by their own excesses.

He doesn't have any big game college experience like Hilliard, but Hill was rated higher coming out of HS. Don't know how much that means, but the Blue injury may provide a great opportunity to find out if Hill has what it takes to be great on this level.

Hill MUST be next in line for the Congressional Medal of Honor AND the Nobel Prize for football sciences.

I am comparing Jeremy Hill to all the past and current LSU running backs!

We know

In my opinion he is the best pure talent since Cecil Collins.

You do realize you formed that opinion from a few carries in mop up duty against a terrible team - which gives your future opinions on this board zero credibility??

I looked in the gameday program and his ratings for every category including throwing power were in the 90's.

Hill can run a 4minute mile while jumping over hurdles and holding a Heisman throphy.

When I see this kid run, I see Collins on the back of his jersey. He just reminds me of Cecil Collins so much. Don't know why.

Cecil Collins was an amazing talent.. Best runner I've seen in an LSU uniform. To bad he was a pervert...
I guess getting dome in a high school locker room doesn't qualify?

Too early to tell about ball security, blocking, etc. but I saw enough on two runs to say he's probably our best ball carrier. His speed differentiates him from Ware. His acceleration differentiates him from Hilliard. His size and power differentiates himself from everyone else.

This.

Not sold on his power yet, though. Seems like down at the goal line he could have mowed someone over to get in. Ware's pretty hard to beat when it comes to pure power back.

To all you people who think that's crazy; talent is talent. If you don't recognize it, you just don't recognize it.

Mop up duty or not, the kids' got moves, speed, balance....like I haven't seen at LSU since....well, Cecil Collins!

I watched Cecil Collins in High School and at LSU, when Hill runs the ball, that's who I see.

Wow. This very same thread was started about Kenny Hilliard! I will respond the same, Wow speed racer... while Jeremy Hill may be a better person than Collins was, lets hold off on the judgements... Collins was a very talented although sick RB!! The dude could have been one of the best ever...
