Players in LSU history? Can maybe add Ryan Baker to that list as well. He’s a guy no ones mentions but dang all that dude did was make tackles

Kendell Beckwith if we are going recent LBs

Showed up, did his job at a high level and didn't seem to complain or get in trouble, and is in the NFL now. What else could you want from a student athlete?

Will never forget his pick 6ix in Jerry World in what was the debut of of Burrow’s Tigers...never got the accolades but was such a key contributor on defense in 2018-2019. Big thanks to Jacob Phillips!

I dont think he'll be as good as Debo but I absolutely expect him to make that kind of jump. Hes got an insane amount of talent, and playing LB for Aranda is tough, theres a lot to learn and only 10 hours a week to learn it.
As far as most under appreciated ever, JaMarcus needs to be on the list IMO. Yeah he went nova with his flame out, but going to the Raiders at their Raideriest, with Al Davis mumbling at the TV in a mumu all day and Lane Kiffin in his first year as a HC on any level, would have broken a lot of dudes.
He didnt work out as a number 1 overall, but he absolutely deserved to be the number 1 overall, in no way was he over rated, he legit had one of the best pure arms to ever pick up a football on any level. To hear people tell it now though youd swear he spent 3 years here just drilling his O Line in the back of the head 60 times a game.

Yeah and if Tyler Taylor wasn’t so stupid we may never have known. I believe Taylor would have started if front of Phillips if he wouldn’t have been so stupid. On a side note looking back at that 2017 class, they had some productive recruits in that class.

Kevin Minter for sure.
Agree w/ OP on Phillips, a stud ILB. The Browns got a steal in the 3rd round.
