It's early and if we're really good enough, it's a win-win. I wish we could get out of the same Texas venues but do realize the recruiting/fan base significance.

And replace them with San Jose State or something? There is absolutely no benefit from playing a non-conference game you have even the slightest chance of losing.

2011 we started with Oregon.

They were the 2010 Pac10 champs and had played in the BCS game.

We've done this type of thing before.

Strength of schedule plays into the BCS voting. Ask undefeated Wisconsin about that.

Actually i was kind of upset when we scheduled Miami since they hadn’t been god in a while. Glad they’re going to be now when we play them.

The committee rewards teams for playing these games.

It's funny you should mention this. Before the beginning of this season I was sceptical about playing Troy, knowing the trouble we had with this team in past years. I actually secretly wished we had scheduled MIAMI instead of Troy!

bullshite. I love our schedule next year Alabama will not be on our radar for a change until we are actually getting ready to play them. Miami, Georgia, Auburn, Florida, and Moo State all before them. If we win through that stretch we won't be trying to prove something against bama and our players will be able to approach it as just the next game.

There is absolutely no guarantee that they get in . The Sec champ and Acc champ are in. That leaves two spots. If Oklahoma wins out they are in. So the last spot is either the loser of Miami/Clemson , Bama if they end up with one loss, or Wisconsin. They are really pumping the strength of schedule argument , and I don’t see any guarantees that Whisky gets in with their SOS. Even with the games they have left it isn’t going to get close to any of those other schools.
