Why hire someone well known in the SEC area to have no integrity? The man was just let go in 2017 for breaking the rules.

With what we have coming back a more potent passing attack is what we need.
Also dependent on whether or not O wants pull the trigger on Dameyune Craig 2.0 and hire a WR Coach that can actually coach and develop the existing talent pool. The LSU WR's are basically coaching themselves.
Not worried about Brennan. He has the passing skills, but none of the back-up's do and it'll be a disaster if he gets injured.
That's O's problem for not recruiting and signing more QB's that are competent in the passing game. LSU is not winning any SEC West/SEC Championships with glorified RB's playing QB..................

Canada - if 1 and done - was absolutely a bust. Not talking stats or production, but the overall direction of the offense and to change the system and now have to change it again. A big black eye for Alleva, Orgeron, and Canada.
Not saying LSU won’t recover and get a good OC, but when you bring in an OC like Canada and lose him after only one season - not because he’s been poached - then it’s not good. I don’t care whose fault it was, it is not good for anyone involved, especially when the promise of getting a top notch OC was one of the reasons O was hired for less money than a typical HC and we’re ALREADY having dysfunction on that side of the ball.

Main problem with Freeze is that he's a short timer. He's probably looking to get right back into the HC game once his show cause expires. Doesn't make a lot of sense.

If Canada was leaving it would've been announced by now.
You don't wait until after the bowl game to make such announcement. Especially if he was going to another college.

Saban hired Kiffin knowing his reputation as a HC. Saban kept him on a short leash.
Pretty certain Orgeron would do the same with Freeze. Freeze is under a 2 year ban from being a HC. Winning will make Orgeron look like an absolute genius. No one will give 2 shites about Freeze's past when winning.

Freeze absolutely doesn't have a 2 year ban from being a head coach. He has a 2 game conference suspension should he be hired as a head coach before Nov. 30 2018.
