Is it likely that Daniels is denied thd Heisman because LSU plays in the

Nowhere bowl? This appears to make the most sense. Same for Nabers and the Biletnikoff. The networks want the hype of such awards to promote the playoffs if at all possible.
If Daniels won it, is there any question that he would play?

Heisman is awarded before bowl games are played. What bowl you are assigned to makes no difference in that voting.
IMO, what MIGHT kill JD's shot is that he won't be playing on championship weekend and either Oregon's or Washington's qb WILL be playing (maybe both).

Do you not realize that there are only 3 bowl games that aren't being broadcast by the ESPN family and none of the three have SEC ties?
