I think that I'd rather recruit right after Miles' last year than right after going 0-7 in the SEC after having gone 2-6 in the SEC the prior year.
Not to mention we still had plenty of NFL talent on the roster in 2017 that were on the 2016 roster
Guice and Williams at RB, Will Clapp on the OL, Chark and Gage at WR. Greedy Williams, Donte Jackson, Devin White on defense.
And that's not even including younger guys like Fulton and Divinity
The problem in the later years with Miles wasn't all about talent although the lines got a little thin.
That's not including some

2005 was a 13 player class
Still ranked 4th in conference
You were dead wrong about 2004.

You don’t think O can lead a team to the playoff. That’s an opinion you have to live with
How exactly does one squirm when they never denied saying it? I really don't see what you think you're accomplishing here.

2005 was a 13 player class with no o lineman and perilloux wasn’t coming if saban was still coach. That was not a great recruiting year.
It's like it's somehow news to you that recruiting often is rough in coach transition years.
Is this really news to you?

I promise you I follow recruiting a thousand times closer than you and roger.
To act like I don’t know what I’m talking about is ill advised

Good, you can stop bringing it up then

2005 was a small class but most ended up being starters at some point.

OK
So you know that coach transition years are often rough in recruiting and, you're just posting shite in here that you know is stupid but doing so for effect?
OK

There was lots of talk that saban gave up actively recruiting in November that year. What are you trying to say? What point are you trying to win?
Of course transition years are tough but saban did us very little favor with that class.

O had to retool QB, WR, OL & LB
2016 was insanely talented but became a waste after they went into the season with Miles
16 guys from that team were in nfl camps that summer
In 2017 LSU had the 3rd most Freshmen snaps of all P5 schools. This, of course is the base of the current team.
Miles’ did not have the bridge players in place after the 2016 exodus. His roster was poorly constructed & that was a direct reflection of his recruiting.

No you don't or you would know that Saban had some killer recruits lined up before he left.
Recruiting was worse in 2006 than 2005. Most f that class didn't pan out.
You following this year?

No man. I’m not. Hopefully Bama catches up with us.
That’s what you want me to say.
