Saban is the best at LSU based on how he elevated the program. People can fight over second

I'm just very happy with most aspects of the program as it is. I think it's running like a machine

Hell yeah it is. I couldn't be more pleased.

I think this is definitely the best coached team we've ever had. People will want to disagree. But I don't think Les was ever really a great coach. He was an amazing recruiter and had good DC's.

I don't really understand a lot of posters acting like 2007 was better coached. We have a real shot to go undefeated and win a national championship against superior competition. We lost to TWO unranked teams in 2007 and the only reason we got a shot at the championship is cause like 6 teams ahead of us lost on the last weekend. To act like that team was perfect coaching wise is ridiculous. Not only did we have incredibly dumb typical Les style offense against Kentucky and Arkansas but we also had incredibly close calls against A 6-6 bama team and auburn.

I think this team would roll up 2007 honestly. And I loved 2007. But les would have no way of keeping up with Brady and Ensminger. Period.

When you say "since the Saban era" that implies the last season. It has nothing to do with loving Miles or trashing the current staff like you're trying to turn it into.

I just went back and read some of the threads about Brady being hired

A lot of those hateful bastards disappeared when this season started

I have 15 or 20 great ones bookmarked. Been reading them laughing, trying to determine who should be most embarrassed

How do you think Miles would fare with the 2004 roster is what you should be asking yourself.

We probably lose the opener against Oregon State because he would have refused to play JR

Yes it does. It implies that there hasn’t been one team that was coached as good as any team since the saban era.

Well, since Les crushed it with Saban's players, hee probably would have done pretty well

It was better than 2004 and it isn’t even debatable.
Saban didn't forget how to coach after the 2003 season.

I get it though. You can't do anything but look at the W/L column, so, that's all you have.

OK. Then, Hugh Freeze was a better coach than Miles in 2014 and 2015.

In 2008, Houston Nutt was a better coach than Miles. So was Marc Richt

Wait. What's that you say? In 2008 there were factors being just coaching that contributed to losses?

Well no fricking shite
