Expecting any coach to do it every year is crazy. But if anyone can do it, it's Les

If any coach could look like shite against inferior opponents, week in and week out, it is les

I'll be happy to take money from anyone stupid enough to bet on A&M. I'll take Bama and LSU straight up over A&M. This year's LSU and Florida contests could not have "gone either way". JFF was a basket case at the ends of those games. Next year A&M will not be competitive for the West. I was strongly suspecting JFF would slump next year, but all doubt was removed when I saw them put him in to kick an extra point. His ego is being inflated past the popping point - mark these words.

Nah....coaches do that every week. Maybe one day LSU will have a losing season under Les and you can finally die happy

Serious question, and this is assuming no change in the staff. Alabama will be reloading and it is beginning to look like Saban has Les' number

Wtf is this?
We won the West LAST YEAR

Unfortunately for A&M, they'll be getting re-introduced to Tiger Stadium, hopefully at night.

LSU wins.

Not so fast, my friend. Ask the Gumps.

I hate our fanbase too. Bama was gifted a mulligan last year without winning the conference. Les and saban are legitimately
3-3 vs each other. The way bama has played this year in their only 2 tough games vs Lsu and A&M, I'm definitely not convinced they run over UGA. If UGA wins, a real possibility, then bama still has only won the SEC 1 time in the Saban era yet the dumbass OP wants to just concede 1st in the west next year.

OP, GFY.

Were you in a coma in 2011? Do see any games other than LSU? Notre Dame, UGA and Florida you know the #1, 3 and 4 teams in the BCS this week all have multiple close wins over lesser teams.

Manziel won't be as good next year. He surprised alot of people this year and was still mediocre at home against LSU.

Well, he didn't surprise Bama AT BAMA as a freshman. They knew he was really good and couldn't stop him.

We won, but still gave up 276 yards passing to him. We did do an excellent job against him running. We were the only school to do so. The next lowest total he rushed for in the SEC was 90 yards.

Remember, they had 5 turnovers to our 0 and missed a FG too. We still only won by 5 (we could've won by 12, but poor discipline extended their drive at the end).

I won't look forward to facing that guy again in any year. I haven't seen too many QBs dominate us to start a game the way he did. We made great adjustments though.

Aggie here. If we all win out, I expect all three to start top five. As for a&m, I'm not really worried about the o line. We start two sophomores and two juniors and all are future pros. Hard to not expect Joekel to leave early (projected as high as no. 1 overall) but I think Matthews will be back to start alongside his brother, who will be our new starting center and will be a star, just like all of his brothers and cousins. Plenty of young talent there, we will be fine barring injuries.

We don't bring back a ton of production at receiver but we will have plenty of weapons on offense. I would be surprised if we aren't top five again on that side of the ball.

The real concern is defense. Our guys have done a great job this year but we really only have maybe fourteen guys that can play, and that includes five seniors and a junior who will be a first round draft pick. We will need some juco's and fish to step up.

Summary- we got by this year with 20-25 good players. Lsu and bama have 45+ guys that can play. We can be really good next year, but we don't have much margin for injuries or busts. I feel pretty confident we can start to close the depth gap, but it will be a couple of years.

Good luck in your bowl game.

Our entire offensive line will be leaving except one guy but out defense should be much better. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I think all three of those teams will be very good again next year. I think the Aggies lose their O line also.

Scoop you are always a good poster and are welcome on here.
Those lsu fans that comment without looking at what tamu loses on both offense with at least 5 possible 7 if those 2 guards go and 6-7 on defense. defense especially a loss of moore would be as bad as when they lost von miller. They are starting a lot of underclass men as well so we will see.

Losing to the Gumps on a consistant basis is what got Charlie Mac fired.

We beat Bama in 2010 and 2011. This year was a gut wrencher we really could have won. That's hardly losing on a constant basis.

I know this isnt pros, but the best QBs in the Nfl arent fast. Brady, the Mannings, etc. if we run the right offense, Mett will be successful and improve
