No, just because he has some speed doesn’t mean he’s like Reggie. He’s closer to an Etienne, some speed and slither, than Bush who was far more elusive in all directions, had more skill and versatility as well as quite a bit more speed. Reggie erased angles on top NFL safeties, he had elite NFL speed.

Style isn’t the same either though. Reggie was the type of back you had trouble grabbing in a phone booth, we haven’t seen any of that kind of lateral movement from Emery. Reggie was also a great receiving back who could not only hurt you underneath but also vertically in the passing game, we haven’t seen any of that in fact no receiving skill at all from Emery yet. He had a lot of trouble even getting assignments correct in the checkdown routes he did run last season. Maybe he has that ability but there’s been no evidence of either so far. He’s much closer to Travis Etienne or maybe even potentially a Tevin Coleman type back in style than what Reggie or that kind of back is.

Two Running Backs can have the same running style and be different sizes. These things are not mutually exclusive.
I’m not saying anyone is right or wrong about their comparisons but being a different size doesn’t eliminate the comparison.
