The gauntlet part of the schedule is up, if Daniels doesn’t show improvement and we start losing bad, you have to try to develop the next guy don’t you? Or have we gone full circle back to CLM and JJ?

Why? Next year Howard will be starting and Nuss will be the back up

Didn't we already decide this is a rebuilding season? Does anyone think a championship is in the cards this year? Otherwise why do we care if Nussmeier struggles? There's nothing Realistically they could play for.

Why not continue to develop JD? If Nuss can improve as a passer, then so can JD. One is not exclusive of the other. And Nuss will never be the runner that JD is right now.

Really?

We are undefeated in conference play and 4–1.

Getting to a 8-9 win season would be huge momentum wise for the program but even more so realistically the sec west is very much in play.

I’ve watched everyone in the west play and Bama without Bryce is beatable at home if we play like we did against Mississippi state.

What makes you think Nuss will develop?

What is Nuss shows no improvement and we are losing on top of that.

You can always put Daniels back in.

I think there is a greater risk of losing games when your QB can't throw for 100 yards.

Against the bottom half of the division, with the better team playing on the road.

I don’t disagree, but man, early on in that game he had a lot of time and his first instinct is to take off, even if it’s right into the arms of the defenders. I’m cool with him staying in the pocket and taking the sack or throwing a bad pass, if that will develop his reads.

That's what practice is for. Games are for winning.
He's where he's at after 2yrs now and what if he didn't further develop?

This statement is bullshite at every stop.

State just destroyed tamu a supposed preseason top 5 team.

We beat state by double digits outgained them and completely shut down their offense.

Arky sucks tamu sucks auburn sucks

So you have a choice either state is in the top half or we are in the top half.

So you admit that we are a top half SEC team with Jayden Daniels or you give state their due and they are a team we beat by double digits and shut down the strength of their team.

Tough decision for you I’m sure.

Yes, it's not like we'll make the playoffs this year. Our D is pretty good and improving. The ST still needs work but Bech is a big help. I can't accurately grade the O-line because at times defenders are completely unblocked and other times JD runs into pressure instead of getting rid of the ball. Our WR were touted as being really great but every game they look frustrated and their play hasn't lived up to the hype.

K looks like an alcoholic on the sideline, he's red as hell and looks like his blood pressure is sky high! LOL I think he's feeling the pressure of being at a major program and not being realistic about his first year here.

I like we've seen steady improvement from the team and they've made personnel changes for the better. The only things I have an issue with is JD not being more productive/efficient and why in the world is M. Taylor on the field so much and why does he get so many passes thrown his way?

Nuss is developed. He is what he is. JD is developed. He is what he is.

Experience can help both to make wiser decisions, but they are what they are. Coaching and game plans can accent each one's strengths and disguise each one's weaknesses.

Go with the QB that gives the best chance to win. Develop each respective game plan for one QB and go with it. The QBs' skill sets and deficiencies are so different, developing one game plan for both would be an improbable task to achieve.

Pray that next year LSU has a QB with a broader and more advantageous skill set and fewer deficiencies.
