Is David Dellucci butt hurt over not being recruited by Skip?

Is it just me or does he seem anti-LSU?

He is apparently big on Auburn and Arkansas, even though the pigs got swept at UGA and Auburn is not having a great year. Where he has LSU as a question mark.

I don’t get the guy.

Big on Auburn and Arkansas to make a regional.

Questions about LSU winning the CWS.

Expectations.

I think he did just fine by going to Ole Miss and having a lengthy MLB career

He is understandably butt hurt. He would have loved to have played at LSU.

That was a miss by Bertman and staff. It happens.

He was an outstanding player and it’s unfortunate that he is still bitter even after having a nice career.

I think since we were so heavily favored by a lot of people to win it all, he’s questioning whether or not we can based on how inconsistent our pitching has been. Which is a legitimate concern. He was praising our offense last weekend while calling the game with Ben.

Auburn has some solid hitters also, this weekend won’t be easy by any means. And Arkansas seems to be playing better but they still have SC and Vandy left to play.

I see a man, Delucci, who is professional and exudes a love of baseball. I do not believe that he has an anti-LSU bias. Yet being a Baton Rouge man, I’m sure he would have been honored to play for LSU and Skip Bertman.

He’s saying the same thing we are all saying

After Skenes we don’t have a dependable second or third starter

I’ve met him a few times. He’s not bitter, stop trying to create friction where there isn’t

Well considering our strength of schedule I’d say we’ve held up pretty well despite all the injuries.

Is the team perfect? No of course not.

Is there anyone else any better? If so they’ve yet to surface. You had people on here knighting for South Carolina just a week ago and they just came within 6 outs of being swept at home by auburn

I’m certain some of you haven’t watched an inning of any other college baseball game this year other than LSU

I think it's OK to say this team has flaws, but is still more than capable of winning it all regardless. I refuse to believe that Delucci has some resentment towards LSU that causes him to be unfair to us. Just silliness.

I don’t really believe he does either. It’s interesting though how some folks don’t want to acknowledge what this team has done against a top 5 schedule and a ton of injuries

If we can get healthy and stay healthy, minus the kids done for the year, I think it’s gonna be very rough for anyone to beat this team

It’s odd how forgiving our fans are for other teams and yet so critical of our own.

I’d encourage people to actually watch other teams play and tell me who out there looks any better on a consistent basis

Being the best doesn't guarantee success.
Tennessee vs Ole Miss, last season.

Agreed but I’ll take my chances with the best team versus hoping we find a miracle

He’s not bitter. He flew under the radar and was kind of a late bloomer. Happens all the time in baseball and football.

I think it’s more of a case of LSU fans being in denial that the pitching staff is not that great outside of Skenes.

Nobody has said it is. Despite the injuries, it’s been good enough to keep us ranked number 1 against a top 5 schedule nationally.

That’s not too bad
