There wasn't much J Landry couldn't do

I'd like to throw Michael Clayton in there for contention as well

He's up there for sure but based on watching this National Championship run... I'd love to see what players like OBJ, Landry, J. Reed, and so forth could have done in an offense like this.

On the flip side, I'd love to have seen players like Dupree and Quinn get challenged like this crew did with the 1k catches in the off season. Dupree was good but I don't remember him having great hands, but seemed like more basket catches. Quinn could have been just as dangerous as J. Jefferson in the slot... had he been forced to work on his hands.

Come on man. He is way faster than that. Look at what AJ Terrell ran. We darn sure know he is faster than him.

He has potential to be the greatest received to ever play here and i don't see him just magically dropping off and in production for us. He may win the belitnikoff award again this season.

Can’t knock Chase at all but if anyone can point to something that made J Reed’s game at LSU incomplete it’ll be the first time I’ve heard of it.

Think he just caught another pass on Bama.

Don't sleep on Marshall. He was leading in td receptions before he got hurt.

Eric Martin was pretty dang good too.
I was a bigger fan of Landry than OBJ at LSU. OBJ is such a gifted athlete.

If Chase has another great year the title is his. Plus He won the hardware.

I am impressed with the way he wins the hands battle effectively
CBS want to get their hands on receivers early and JC seems to have strong hands, good blocking techniques.

Reed was amazing that season. That game against Bama was my proudest momemt as a Tiger and is still at least top 3..

It seems recently our killer sophomores have regressed their junior year (fournette, GUICE, delpit) I hope he stays hungry and I think he can surpass them all but a gut feeling thinks he dosent put up the same numbers this year with burrow gone. And that isn’t a knock on Brennan. It’s just hard to equalize that production with any qb

I wouldn't say it was a regression bc of talent or lack of work. It was more of our offense and injuries that they regressed on their respective side of the ball. Quick to forget it seems.

For example, once delpit got healthy, he played lights out.

Yes, hes the best pure wide receiver at the college level that LSU has had. Hes a grown man playing with boys in the fierce SEC. What a talent!

All three of those players were hurt.

I think this is fair,

1700+ yards and 20 TDS is a fricking lot. If Brenan threw 20 less TDS than Joe that would be an amazing season, but obviously woudl cut into Chase's production

On the swing side, he is our clear #1 whcih is a double edged sword. He will get a lot of targets, but I feel like teams picking their poison between him and Marshall are going to try and give more safety help to Chase until marshall starts killing them.

2013 our entire offense was chucking up jump balls to OBJ.

Except Landry had more yards, receptions, and TDs.

Also Jeremy Hill was 2nd in the league in rushing yards and TDs.

OBJ was third fiddle in 2013.

Sorry as I read this post, Josh Reed was open for another pass.

Love me some Jamar Chase but you baws need to pull up film on Reed and realize that the man was open all the time. Chase is better at high pointing and catching contested balls but Reed had an ability to get wide open like no one I've seen.

They both were really special and its great to know that the top 2 WRs in SEC production played for LSU.

and coming in at 4 is Justin Jefferson!!!
