He may look at college HC job if the LSU offense flies next year and he becomes hot property.

Don't worry, if offense starts doing good Les will start calling short side option plays with Mett in order to keep Cam around

I am convinced that Cam either will or will not be here more than one year.

y'all remember when everyone was scared ND would hire DiNardo away after a couple of years? that was energy well spent.

I have to believe the NFL will offer Cam a pro OC job. Do you think he takes it?
You don't think NFL teams were offering him after the Ravens let him go?. . . As far as I'm concerned, he chose LSU - i.e., he had other options, but chose to be here.

He didn't receive any offers from NFL teams this year after having a decent half a season in Baltimore.

We're screwed. 0-13 Season, leave the sec, drop the football program and the school goes under.

His name was only mentioned in reference to the Jets job and there was no offer reported. If a team would have offered him an OC position one of the NFL insiders would have reported it.

He seems like the guy that might stick around if he really likes it

It just depends

Wouldn't surprise me either way

With how much he has moved around it wouldn't surprise me if he stays for a long time if he has success and fan support.

Job security is a rare thing to have in CFB

He relocated his family, and while I know they have lived in 5 or so different places, if he was planning on this being a one and done he would have let his Junior son finish school where he was rather than bring him to BR as a Jr and wherever else as a Sr.

Cam hasn't sent his first team out on the field yet and we are already worried about him leaving.

I don't think he's one and done. Cameron is a well respected coordinator in the NFl. He likely could have had a job with a team this upcoming season or the following. I think he wanted to come back and coach college for a while. It might be for three or four years, and it could be longer. I don't believe he came to LSU as a last option, think he came here because he wanted to and will be around for a while(at least a few years).

cam will be a colege head coach. they make a ton of money now, way more than pro oc.

Perhaps, if the right job becomes available. But if it's purely about money, then Cam will be making more as the LSU OC than a lot of NCAA head coaches.

Regardless of success, it seems the LSU AD back-loaded his contract... I think he will likely stay a minimum of 2 years since his salary jumps from 600k to 1.3m in year 2. I'm not sure what OC's make in the NFL but I would think 1.3m is in the competitive range.
