Your guys can't see the writing on the wall.

Cam has made a deal with Miles to be the next HC of LSU. Why else would he be here, to coach with a friend? I don't think so! The only caveat is he has to win and for the offense to be in the top 10 each year. Mark my words.

One and done is out the window, forget about it.

Miles doesn't get to name his successor.

Miles may not name his successor in theory but in reality and the way the good ole boy network works he does. Write it down! Cam HC 2017, if he wants the job.

Didn't everyone worry that DiNardo would go to coach Notre Dame? Let's just hope CCC is good enough to warrant that consideration this year and isn't an abortion like fat Charlie (Weiss aka schematic advantage) was.

Yes, he did say this, but what else would he say? That he hates recruiting? I'd be surprised if he is excited about it. That is one of the perks of the NFL: you don't have to fly all over the country trying to get players to play for your team.

How is your life? I would say thinking negative all the time is not healthy.

I think he'll do 3 years. After that, who knows.

Agreed. One and done would leave over $2.5 Mil on the table. At his age (yes, i know he is not that old) you don't leave that kind of money on the table. I would be willing to bet that he will honor his 3 year contract, who knows after that. A lot can change in 3 years.

I just read this last page so sorry if this was stated earlier, Cam has a 1 mil buyout. He is already making NFL money and if you include the buy-out to get him then thats 2 mil a year for an NFL oc. Do they go for that much these day?
Also does Cam coach form the box?

I think we will be fortunate to have him 2 years. If he turns around the LSU offense he will get offers from both Colleges for HC and the NFL for OC. I dont think its a cooincidence that Studwara took the demotion and stayed. This was a perfect fit for LSU and Cam. Win-Win.

He may look at college HC job if the LSU offense flies next year and he becomes hot property.

I think this is a possibility. His only two HC gigs weren't the best of situations and I think if LSU's offense were to really tear it up this year he would certainly get most of the credit, deserved or not. That would probably get a few desirable job openings tossed his way (USC or TX maybe?).

. Not at all far fetched. Miles may only be good for another 5 years or so and Cam is a few years younger.
