Based on what? A transfer rating?

Was just gonna say, I’m not benching Curiel for Chester in left especially after this weekend

I don't know, man, I hear he hits the ball a mile. Maybe move Curiel to center to appease that guy who used to say we needed to sit Stanny .

Right most of these people don’t know anything about Moore besides his transfer rating and by that they think he should start. Per Bk Chester has made significant strides by getting stronger and he has experience and on top of that he’s a talented guy.

I dunno, but am thinking this Curiel kid is pretty good in left field.

I hope that you aren't saying this is due to his center play. As the season wore on, teams figured out that you could blitz up the middle, and boy did they start having success. Yes, most people blamed Nuss, because, well that is just what the Rant does.

Nuss got sacked 16 times last year. 3.13% sack rate. 7 came in the Florida game where the entire offense was hot garbage.

Here is the list of P4 teams that had a lower sack %.

1. Georgia Tech - 2.53%
2. USC - 2.73%
3. Duke - 2.73%
4. Oklahoma State - 3.04%

That's it.

When a highly ranked Clemson team plays LSU in 1st game of the year…..

Kelly will have his most experienced players on the Line of Scrimmage !!

Go back and look at how the staff handled transfers in the Spring of 24 and then where they were in Game 1. You can’t go by who starts in the Spring in a glorified practice.

Chester didn't know the calls last season. Did he magically learn them all of a sudden in the Spring? Dude needs to be a Georgia State or Georgia Southern, not LSU. He wasn't offered by UGA. (i wonder why)

Once again proving you are the biggest fricking idiot on a board full of them.

Chester was a top 150 recruit and a top 10 interior OL in his class. And if you did any fricking research (we all know that’s beyond you), you would know he was also one of the youngest offensive linemen in his class. Right there at On3. Doesn’t even require a sub to see that, dummy.

Was it a mistake to throw a guy who’s already on the young side to the wolves as a redshirt? Yes. That’s likely why the staff brought in Moore, who has more starting experience. But saying we shouldn’t have recruited Chester is just fricking stupid. He had the ranking and profile to be a high level P5 recruit and was offered by Auburn, Ole Miss, Michigan, and FSU. I guess Michigan doesn’t know anything about OL talent, right?

fricking imbecile.

Sorry, bad typing....should have been LF....our weakest position on the field. I don't care which position Moore and Chester play, guard or center, but I think both are probably in our top 5 Olineman. We have to improve at both of those positions to reach our expectations.

Moving Chester to left field would be a horrible idea

Unless its the bleachers and they are using him for shade.

No. They didn't have any transfers running with the 1s outside of maybe Patrick Payton and Delaune, and those guys are taking open spots on the roster.

Don't be so sure that moore starts. I think it's actually going to be a battle between the 2.

I agree, but Anderson(Nic) hasn’t made the impact I thought he would compared to hype. Adjust your panties guys I know he’s coming off an injury, I just hope that’s what is slowing him down. His size is the key but I just don’t see the hype. I hope by the end of the summer he’s 100 and ready to go. Until then I’m tempering my expectations. Brown so far looks like the real.

IF they had only given up 5 sacks to Florida, they would have been tied for #2 with USC and Duke.

4? They would have effectively tied Ga Tech (2.54%)
