If he goes to Florida or Texas for more $$ so be it. For what we’d have to pay him to come here we could get 3-4 older receivers in the portal. It just seems like he’s not totally bought into LSU and that guys that aren’t 100% P&G blood seem to not live up to expectations.

HS recruiting isn’t really as exciting as it used to be.

If you're tired of the Easton Royal drama, find a hobby and get off the internet

Using that logic, we'd have never gotten Jamarr Chase nor Leonard Fournette. Fournette was heavily enamored with Bama because of Saban. Chase liked a few schools and was actually committed to Florida at one point.

Also, I would like to have a stud Louisiana receiver on the roster. Lane Kiffin would too, which is why he's here at LSU.

I stopped paying attention to recruiting a few years ago. Whoever shows up in August shows up and we'll go from there

That’s what we did this year. And it’s one of the things keeping this offense from being elite—we lack a big-time playmaking WR. Watkins and now Harris have been great. I think Tre Wilson is about to emerge. But imagine if they were our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th guys instead of our 1-3.

And one of the main reasons Lane came here was to get the OJBs, Chases, Jeffersons, Bouttes, and Nabors (I know he’s from Mississippi, but Lane not being able to get him to Oxford just underscores the point).

:whatyearisit?:

I think Lane wants Easton really bad and is going to throw a huge number at him. There will certainly be a limit they’re not willing to go over, but I think that limit is going to be really fricking high.

It used to hurt when a HS kid chose someone other than the home team for me. After many years of watching them string along lsu only to go somewhere else last minute I’ve become numb to it. Look at all the kids who didn’t come to LSU and you never hear of them again. It’s rare that they are actually good it seems. I don’t blame them for wanting to take trips or secure the bag, hell I can’t say I wouldn’t do the same. End of the day whoever comes to lsu is who I am riding with, the rest are tigerbait.

Is there drama? He's committed to Texas and has been for a while. What is dramatic about that?

Apparently his comp is Percy Harvin. If that is accurate, then I’d say we need to find a way to get him to campus.

Whenever a kid acts like this, never committing, going to every school and then getting on social media and posting some cryptic bullshite about how maybe that school is now possibly the front runner.....yeah, I wouldn't be upset if they didn't pick LSU. There are a whole lot of very talented athletes in Louisiana and around the country that would kill to play WR for Lane Kiffin, and they wouldn't think twice about signing when offered.

I’ve been tired of it for awhile. If LSU gets him great. If they don’t. Whatever.

It always has meant about the money and always will be about the money I want players who wanna wear a purple and gold and I’m not interested in only a check if he thinks about all the success Lsu has had what wide receivers versus what Texas and Florida has had the NFL then his decision in a no brainer but because mommy wants a big paycheck he’ll probably go elsewhere. He only committed to Texas because mommy wanted to get paid monthly checks so whoever takes him is going to have to pay back Texas if he does not go there all the money. I hope Lsu isn’t that dumb. One thing that no one is considering right now is he needs a good quarterback to get him the ball and he better think about that. I wish him the best whatever choice he makes but we will survive one way or the other.
