Is anyone else aggravated by M. Harrison being a finalist for the Heisman?

He isn’t even a top 5 WR in stats and not to mention best Overall player.

It's comical the fawning over him. People acting like he's the best WR prospect since Randy Moss.

Name recognition. Some lucky team is going to get Daniels and maybe Nabors or Thomas.

No, it was expected if you were paying attention, he will finish 4th.

Depends on how you interpret the stats and define “best”. He’s an elite talent and the best player on a top 5-6 team. No big he’s going

Hell yes! They pick his arse four games in.

So the eye test again? Bc actual stats say Nabers should be there

Dude I do not get it. Putting him in the top 5 is a Bama instead of FSU level failure.
I told this to my friend that it was a tragedy LSU had the Heisman and Biletnikoff winner and still lost 3 games. He goes “I would agree if Bo Nix and Marvin Harrison didn’t exist.” I’d sooner give the Heisman to Brian Thomas than friggin Marvin Harrison.
Just like Arch Manning. If his name was Marvin Jones no one would care.

By new logic, the FSU QB should win it bc he was apparently single handedly responsible for playoff berths. Doesn’t get more valuable than that for a player.

There are a ton of those out there. Why does he make the list?

I'm just happy I made it through a whole season of Gus Johnson saying "Maserati Marv" without shooting myself.

This is how I feel about Harrison ????

There are a ton of Ohio State fans who will tell you straight to your face that he should win the Heisman, just wait until the voting comes out. There will 100% be 1st place votes given to him coming from that region.
They are the worst fans in all of sports.

He’s a really good WR, but he’s not the best player in the country.
Posted on 12/4/23 at 9:35 pm to TIGERSby10
It’s just kind of frustrating because it hints that he’ll win the Biletnikoff which Nabers clearly has the numbers to claim.

No. Who cares if he comes in 4th place?

No it doesn’t. Completely different voting process

I mean there are former Ohio State players who get a vote

Not exactly, he has good stats, not has many yards or catches as Nabers but the same ypc and the same amount of TDs. Some of you are taking this way to personal. He’s the best player on an 11-1 team that spent several weeks at #1, is this your first year following CFB? Someone has to be 4th, it’s not big deal.
It’s rare enough for a team with 3 loses to have the Heisman winner, now you guys want 2 finalists

FWIW Chase had a better season that Nabers and people weren’t melting he was not invited

As long as he doesn't win, No. Jayden is there. I don't care who the other finalists are.

By definition there can’t be more than 5-6 best players on the top 5/6 teams, is that “a ton”?
Also there can only be 4 finalists Penix is already there, Ewers missed too many games, no one from Michigan or UGA stands out so it would be Harrison or Milroe as the 4th guy.
